The room is located just an hour away from Tampa Bay, so it finds itself in a competitive poker market. One-Eyed Jacks’ main competition comes from the popular Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, which is 57 miles away. The Sarasota Kennel Club announced the grand opening of One-Eyed Jacks Card Room on November 24th of 2006. The state of the art room is completely non-smoking and includes 24 poker tables. Endless amounts of TV monitors and walk-about tellers help players with wagering on parimutuel racing while playing poker.
