Wyoming hotels and motels located in Lander participate in a free shuttle service provided by the casino. Shoshone Rose features promotions on Wednesdays and the Wild Rose Rewards Club.
The Northern Arapaho Tribe own another of the Wyoming Indian casinos located in Riverton in a verdant valley near the magnificent Wind River mountains. This location is set on the third biggest Native American reservation in the country. Of the few Wyoming casinos available, Wind River is the most popular and the largest. Three of the most crowd-pleasing table games include Texas Hold ‘Em, blackjack, and Three Card Poker. Slot fans love the variety of choice in gaming machines, which total 750 and include progressive jackpots, video reels, and poker. Ticket in and out machines are widely available, as are bank machines and change counters. The Northern Arapaho Tribe offers another, smaller casino for gambling in Wyoming called Little Wind Casino. Little Wind is in Ethete, 40 minutes from Riverton. Gambling in Wyoming at Little Wind is fairly limited in casino games, but still exciting. There are 170 gaming machines to choose between and tables featuring blackjack. Blackjack stands strong at the casino with small minimum bets and maximum bets totaling only a few hundred dollars. Anyone willing to travel the short 40 minutes to larger Wind River Casino can enjoy free blackjack lessons on Saturdays.
